This lovely south facing villa is set on a pretty, rustic "finca", a true oasis of peace and tranquility. It has a splendid countryside location with abundant vegetation, walking distance from a hamlet called Navahermosa and 5 minutes by car from the village of Galaroza. An excellent option for those looking for a holiday in a green environment.
The hamlet of Navahermosa is 1 km away, whilst Galaroza, an adorable village of white streets that is part of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park in the north of the Huelva province, is 2 km further. The villa is set on a large finca in a green valley, protected from the winds and enjoying a lot of sunshine. The finca also includes another cottage that shares the pool. The covered veranda has lovely views and faces east, making it the ideal spot to enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun. The veranda terrace is beautifully paved using a typical local method, only found in this area. The spacious pergola-terrace is south facing and has a barbecue for your alfresco meals. The attractive pool (6x4 m) is only a few steps away from the villa and set in the huge garden that comprises olive groves, cork trees, and a pear orchard. Of course, this area is excellent for hiking and discovering nature, but there are also lovely villages around, like Valdearco. Don't forget to sample the excellent gastronomy of the region, famous for its "jamon de pata negra" and other products made from the Iberian black pig. The nearby village of Jabugo is very well known for this meat. The city is of Seville (100 km) is a nice day trip and provides the nearest airport. You can also fly to Jerez (180 km) or to Faro in Portugal (150 km).
The cottage has its rooms set on two floors and is newly and fully furnished making use of rustic materials in good taste. The house has been built according to the traditional rustic style of the region using materials of the best qualityâsolid wooden beams, chestnut window frames, terracotta floor tiles, and double glazing for efficient insulation. It comprises a living/dining room with a wood burning stove, TV, and music equipment with a CD player. The open plan kitchen is equipped with a 4 ringed gas/electric hob, oven/grill, microwave, refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and all the necessary kitchen utensils. There are two double bedrooms and one twin with the possibility of adding an extra bed. Two bathrooms.
