If youâre looking for a location where you have a wide array of tapas bars, restaurants and shops at hand reach from your villa, then this must be your choice. Yet, you will enjoy the quiet ambience of a countryside property and the wonderful views over the impressive gorge of the Higueron river. Inside the villa is spacious, simple and comfortable.
The villa is located along the Camino Boticario street, at just 2 minutesâ walk from the well-known Restaurant Virtudes, yet set away from the bustling whitewashed streets of Frigiliana. Here you can perfectly do without a car, since bus stop and taxis are just 150 meter away from the house and will bring you easily to the lovely beaches of Nerja or the many museums in Malaga. From the villa, you can also make lovely hikes through the riverbed of the nearby Rio Higueron or drop in to the countryside west of Frigiliana. The outside area of the villa includes a spacious sun terrace and a private L-shaped pool (7.5m x 7.5m x 4m; 0.8m â 2.20m deep) to include a separate area for children at the shallow end. Sun loungers are provided. Another terrace, complete with patio furniture and umbrella, is located on a high level and accessible from the living room â itâs the perfect place to have your alfresco diner and enjoy the splendid views over the surrounding countryside. The built-in barbecue area is located next to pool.
The villa offers comfortable furnishings, although it would benefit of an update since itâs a bit outdated at some points. The villa has the rooms divided over three levels.GROUND FLOOR (STREET LEVEL) On the ground floor your will find a spacious living room provided with 2 sofas, a coffee table and satellite TV. The separate dining room is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen and provided with a dining table, sofa bed, and a wall unit with books for guests to read. The kitchen offers a lot of space and includes a breakfast table, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 4 rings gas hob, electric oven and a microwave. There is also double bedroom and a shower room with WC on the ground floor.FIRST FLOOR On the first floor you will find 2 twin bedrooms and a WC with wash basin.LOWER GROUND FLOOR (POOL LEVEL)A full family bathroom and the washing machine can be found on the lower ground floor.Note: A WiFi Internet connection can be provided at 20 EUR per week.

Nos gustó mucho la ubicación y la zona exterior de la casa. Tiene preciosas vistas y una piscina muy hermosa. Esta en el pueblo, que es muy cómodo. Frigiliana es un pueblo muy bonito, con buenos restaurantes y muy cerca del mar y Málaga, El interior de la casa nos gustó menos. Estaba limpio, pero muy básico y un poco anticuado. La segunda ducha es demasiada pequeña para un adulto. Sin embargo nuestras vacaciones en Frigliana eran maravillosas.

A beautiful and private location
It is in a beautiful setting overlooking the gorge and is very private despite only being a very short walk from the town. For the money we paid, I would have expected some of the more basic items to be included: bathroom and kitchen essentials such as washing-up liquid; soap etc. We have stayed in much less expensive (but equally good) villas where a small welcome pack of the essentials is provided - this being much appreciated and also meaning that an immediate visit to the shops is not required. Additionally, being only a party of two, the lack of matching crockery, etc, did not pose a problem but, if we had been a party of six, there would not have been enough glasses, cups etc. for that number of people to each have a matching wine glass; tumbler; cup. Having said that, these are relatively small matters and the villa is a beautiful place to spend a week soaking up the sun. There are comfortable places to sit (both sunny and shaded) and the pool was a very welcome relief in the heat. If the property was better equipped with the essentials, I would have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars.

Fantastic Christmas break in lovely villa
The owner was the perfect host. Showed us around her lovely property which was in very clean condition. It had everything we expected and more kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need, lots of glassware, crockery, cutlery, pans, etc. We had a problem getting the gas rings to work in first day and the owner came immediate to fix the problem. It just was properly attached. Frigiliana is a beautiful village and just a few miles from busier Nerja. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend this property.
