Imagine: step out the door, turn left, walk 80 m and... lay down on the beach! Alternatively, you may also sit down at a terrace for a cold sangria! It is all possible: this wonderful villa is located in calle Carabeo, in the very heart of Nerja. You will have your own private pool with a sun terrace while enjoying magnificent views out to the beach and the Mediterranean. Before you read on: this villa fits a maximum of 4 adults + 2 children.
No rental car needed at this villa: it's only a 2 minute walk to restaurants, shops, tapa bars, and the beaches such as playas Carabeillo and Carabeo. Still the house does have its own private parking. In case you prefer visiting the highlights of Andalusia without driving, then you can book a guided excursion or take public transport from the bus station at 800 m from the villa. The villa is provided with a spacious terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (2.5 x 3.5 m). A large sun screen covers the dining area making it a perfect spot to enjoy a lunch in the shade; barbecue and patio furniture are provided. For families with children it will be good to know that there is also a shared pool (visible on one of the pictures) where the kids can make new friends. On the first floor is another sun terrace with the same splendid sea views, only accessible through the master bedroom. Notes:* The City Council of Nerja has the intention to cut Carabeo Street with a poller in the near future. At this moment we do not know if the street, and thus the parking, will be accessible for the guests, since there is a lack of information on the part of the City Council. The community of property owners is claiming that access will be granted but it is soon to know if this will be solved in a positive way. In case access to the parking of the villa finally would not be possible, then we nor the property owner can not be held responsible. Should this happen, then you can park your car at "Parking Carabeo", a very large parking lot just behind Calle Carabeo, at 3 minutes walk. There is a special price for 7 days of 55 EUR (current rate at the present time 20 March 19). * In the second week of October, lasting from 4 to 5 days, you will be able to attend the Feria de Nerja (Nerja fair). For the duration of the fair, the fairgrounds in the centre of Nerja are covered in rows of casetas (individual decorated marquee tents which are temporarily built on the fairground). During the fair, you will find people (many ladies and some men in traditional flamenco outfit arriving on horse) partying and dancing "Sevillanas", drinking Jerez sherry, or manzanilla wine, and eating tapas. So, this is an attractive event, but it also has to consequences that may not be so attractive: The private parking next to the villa will not be available from a few days days before and during the fair because the calle Carabeo will not be accessible. If you bring a car, you can try to find a spot in the surroundings or we can offer you a free parking at Marina Turquesa apartments (at 1,5 km from the villa). You may suffer nuisance from the noise of fair (music etc). We estimate this will not affect you very much as the villa is at a prudent distance from the area, but we are not able to guarantee anything.
The villa is built on two floors and comfortably furnished; the marble floors show the good taste of the designer. On the ground floor is a luminous living room with large LCD-TV, a dining-corner and a fire place. The kitchen is small but smartly furnished with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is in the utility room under the stairs. There is also a toilet on this floor.On the first floor you will find a spacious master bedroom with a large and private sun terrace. The second bedroom is a twin. The third bedroom on this floor is very small, with a bunk bed and no wardrobe âthe reason why we find this bedroom more apt for two children. There is a full bathroom with an over bath shower, WC, bidet, and basin. The villa has air conditioning in the living room and 2 bedrooms. WiFi internet is available (free of charge).

Mooie vakantiewoning, rustig gelegen en toch hartje centrum, restaurantjes "naast de deur". Prima inrichting, goed verzorgd, schoon. Volkomen privacy in de tuin. Uitzicht op Balcon. Geweldig. Wij komen hier graag terug.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus
Wir haben hier einen ganz tollen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus war bestens beheizbar -ganz wichtig in dieser Zeit-, die Ausstattung vollständig und in ordentlichem Zustand. Sehr sauber. Die Lage ist einmalig und es war, da wir fast die einzigen Gäste waren, sehr ruhig. Wir haben selten einen so schönen Urlaub verbracht. Leider war der Pool etwas zu kalt!!!! Nächstes Jahr kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Beautiful Villa with fantastic views
We enjoyed a fabulous week at this beautiful cosy Villa, just a short stroll from the resort centre. A real bonus is the secure parking which is getting more difficult to find in Nerja. We look forward to returning again to the Carabeo.
