The property is set on a hill, amidst olive groves, offering impressive panoramic views on the surrounding landscape. Only a 5 minute drive away from the village of Ventorros de San José for simple shopping, a restaurant and some bars. Thanks to its central location in the heart of Andalusia, the historic cities at hand reach: Antequera - 60 km (37 miles), Granada - 76 km (47 miles) and Córdoba - 129 km ( 80 miles). The vine covered terrace and private swimming pool of 9 by 5 metres are complete with patio furniture and sun loungers, while the roof terrace offers a barbecue to enjoy your alfresco meals.
The accommodation has been tastefully restored and offers a high standard of comfort and furniture. The charming decoration in Andalusian style with traditional floor tiles and wooden furniture guarantees an enjoyable stay. The ground floor consists of an open-plan living / dining / kitchen and a double bedroom (convertible to twin) with ensuite bathroom fully accesible for wheelchairs. The 4 double bedrooms on the first floor are convertible to twins, each with a shower or bathroom. The living room comes complete with couch for 7, wood-burning stove, satellite tv and radio/cd-player. The open-plan kitchen offers a wooden dining table for the 10, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Additional facilities: central heating, iron board, hairdryer, extra fridge/freezer in back utility room.

Wir haben mit 4 befreundeten Ehepaaren 12 unbeschwerte Tage in der Nähe von Ventorros de San Jose verbracht. Das Haus liegt abseits in einem Olivenhain, ca. 5 min bis Ventorros de San Jose, ca. 30 min bis Loja. Ausgestattet mit modernen Gerätschaften und geführt von einer freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Familie haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer dort wandern möchte, sollte sich eine topografische Karte besorgen, damit er/sie sich in den Olivenhainen zurechtfinden kann. Wege sind nicht ausgezeichnet.

Elena and Miguel are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a particularly beautiful 'homely' home and is absolutely perfect for a large group. There were 10 of us and we all had plenty of space! The facilities are fantastic including very comfy beds, great TV and wifi, super comfy settee which seated us all, really well stocked kitchen (even a blender- bliss!), fab BBQ, much welcome underfloor heating and the whole place was immaculately clean. The wine and local produce on arrival was a really nice touch, and the kids adored the pool. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elena's home to anyone. Thank you!!!

Beautiful house
Beautiful house, very well equipped and nicely decorated : we truly felt "home" in this place ! We had a great stay in this very quiet environment and greatly appreciated Elena's availability and all the attentions that were left for us, especially the many addresses and explanations about local spots. A perfect house for a perfect break !
